Ancestral Workshop

A guided workshop where participants are asked to create ancestral collages about their forefathers and mothers.

Group meditations are offered to all individuals for guidance in their exploration, about their past and their connections to their ancestor/family stories.

Once choosen, I offer a portrait demonstration to show students facial proportions and accuracy.

Students may also choose to collage photographs into their art works of their families.

A variety of materials are used: acrylic paints, oil pastels, pencil crayons, pencils, erasers, paint brushes, plates for mixing paints, water containers, paper and photos (laser prints of original photos can be used in order to save the original).

Duration: 2-3 days
